PSYCHATRICS

The psychicartic-functional treatment is a specific therapy for illness-related psychsocial and socialemotional disorders and the resulting malfunction of abilities. Particulary, it includes the following interventions:

  • Improvement and Stabilization of psychic basic functions such as propulsion, motivation, resilience, preserverance, flexibility and having an auotonomous day structure
  • Improvement of autonomous living and basic working skills
  • Improvement of impaired bodily functions like gross and fine motor skills, coordination and bodyawareness
  • Improvement of body awareness und perception processing
  • Improvement of relatedness to reality and the reflection of the self and other
  • Improbement of situation-oriented behaviou, socioemotional competence and the interaction capability
  • Improvement cognitive functions
  • Improvement of psychic stability and self-confidence

COMMERCIAL SECTOR

In this sector the handling of a computer, current user programs can be learned and skills extended. Starting with basic word processing and spreadsheet work to graphic and programming programs. The therapy is fitted to individual capabilities.

HANDICRAFT TECHNICAL SECTOR

This offer gives information about manual and technical abilities (manual dexterity, work planning, motoric skills, handling of machines etc.).

HOUSEKEEPING SECTOR

In the housekeeping sector, small groups can work in a fitted kitchen, which is fully equipped with household electrical appliances. Meals can be planned together. Shopping and cooking are discussed in the group and performed autonomously or under guidance.

CREATIVE-THERAPEUTIC SECTOR

In the creative-therapeutic sector materials as clay, colors, paper, wood, textiles and wicker can be used. With this offer, feelings like fear, anger, grief can be expressed and articulated, as well as events from everyday life.

ERGOTHERAPEUTISCHES ASSESSMENT

The "Ergotherapeutische Assessment" is a service offer of Occupational Therapy for persons with psycatric and neurological diseases to detect the basic working skills.
